Closure: Konfliktlösung am Ende der Geschichte
„A minimal story consists of three conjoined events. The first and the third
events are stative, the second is active. Furthermore, the third event is the
inverse of the first. Finally, the three events are conjoined by conjunctive
features in such a way that (a) the first event precedes the second in time and the
second precedes the third, and (b) the second causes the third. "(Prince)
Der Leser eines Erzähltextes hat nach der Definition von Prince dann das
Gefühl, dass eine Handlung abgeschlossen ist, wenn zwischen zwei statischen
Ereignissen ein aktives Ereignis liegt, das das letztere bewirkt hat und wenn dieses
letzte das Gegenteil des ersten darstellt.
Beispiele:
- A ist ohne B --> A sucht nach B --> A und B sind ein
Paar
- A ist reich --> A verspielt sein ganzes Geld --> A ist
arm
- A lebt --> A. wird zu einer gefährlichen Flucht durchs Gebirge
gezwungen --> A ist tot.
